Ibtissam El Azami

Born in 1994 in France, Ibtissam El Azami has held various jobs and lived in London, Paris, Rome, and Barcelona before dedicating herself to writing. From blogger to makeup artist, receptionist to waitress, her many lives feed her work with a critical and naturalistic eye.

Her first novels, Bianka, Elle, and Tester, are transgressive auto‑fictions exploring addiction, grief, and psychological control. Find the Liar, published August 2026, is the first novel of her Echoën Fallacy trilogy, a gritty psychological thriller. She now lives in France and is working on her upcoming novels.
