Dr. Shane A Wallenda

Dr. Shane Wallenda is an American chaplain, author, nonprofit leader, and senior communications professional whose life has been shaped by a calling to serve both in moments of mission and in moments of human suffering. With more than three decades of leadership in military and federal service, Shane has dedicated his professional career to strategic communications, visual information leadership, crisis support, and public affairs, serving the United States with excellence, creativity, and integrity.

Beyond government service, Shane’s deepest passion is ministry. As founder and CEO of Adonai's Mercy House, he has helped build a ministry of hope that serves children battling cancer and families facing some of life’s hardest realities. Through partnerships with Mary Johnston Hospital in Manila, Shane works to provide medical support, spiritual care, training, and compassionate hospice services to children who might otherwise go without treatment or hope.

Holding a Doctor of Ministry degree, Shane is known for walking closely with families in seasons of grief, uncertainty, and faith, offering biblical counsel, pastoral care, and the unshakable hope found in Jesus Christ. His ministry and teaching are marked by a deep love for Scripture, church history, and practical discipleship, often challenging believers to move beyond comfortable faith into wholehearted surrender.

As an author, Shane writes with honesty, conviction, and compassion, addressing themes of suffering, identity, spiritual drift, endurance, and the sufficiency of Christ. His works include Is Jesus Really Enough? and The Great Drift, reflect both theological depth and real-world experience, speaking to those wrestling with pain, doubt, and the call to authentic faith.

Above every title, leader, author, chaplain, or CEO, Shane considers his greatest calling to be husband, father, grandfather, and servant of Christ. Together with his wife Maria, he continues to invest in family, ministry, and the mission of bringing hope to a hurting world.
