Jon Glasco

Jon Glasco is a writer and journalist covering smart cities and communities, with a focus on how innovation shapes resilience, sustainability, and quality of life. He reports on urban innovation, energy security and resilience, disaster recovery, and the social dimensions of infrastructure and digital solutions.

Before turning to journalism, Jon worked in the corporate sector across engineering, consulting, and innovation management and in public-sector technology roles, giving him a cross-disciplinary perspective on complex systems and challenges. He holds a degree in electrical engineering and an MBA, and is a member of the National Writers Union and the Association of European Journalists.
