Heather McCormick is a mixed media artist, muralist, author, and teacher. Heather serves the Northeast Ohio area by teaching art through Beck Center for the Arts and Arthouse Cleveland.
She has a genuine love for people, and it shows through how she engages with our community. Heather is grateful for her many years of working with the general public, and she has owned a brick-and-mortar enrichment and community center in the past.
Heather’s mission is kindness, and she is an artist with her own company, Kind Mind Art, where she focuses on being kind to her mind through “arting” all over the place. She has worked in the community and with local families for over 30 years, and her goal is to promote kindness, healing, and self-love through art.
She believes art is a great catharsis, and this fuels her passion in her art pieces and also her work. Heather loves live music, making big energy messy art, and she has one grown daughter who is also an artist. She enjoys practicing intuitive henna and ecstatic dance; she never minds if you call her Miss Feather, and she carries bubbles in her purse.
