Jade Leonard

I’m Jade Leonard, a children’s author from Pittsburgh who now lives in Nashville with my husband, kids, and our two dogs, Max and Meelah. Their big personalities and funny real life adventures inspired me to create The Adventures of Max and Meelah, a series that imagines the world through their eyes. I fell in love with reading as a child, and books like Designed by God So I Must Be Special, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and The Mouse and the Motorcycle shaped my imagination. Writing has always been my safe place, and I love creating stories that help kids laugh, dream, and explore.
