Maeve A Cullinane started writing poetry as a young girl, and never stopped. Her prose and fiction are better for it. After ten years working in book production and then graduate school, she taught elementary school and worked in museum education. She especially enjoyed teaching writing, and on the side was a blogger for the local newspaper. She is currently working on a novel or two.
Since her college days, she has attended and facilitated Grief workshops and support groups, participated in NAMI’s Family to Family program, and explored the complexities of grief. She incorporates mindfulness and meditation practices into her daily life. She lives with her dog Charlie in western New York state, and loves her three adult children and their partners who are spread across the Northeast.
