Leandro Loriga

Leandro Loriga PhD is a medical anthropologist, bioethicist, and author best known for his work on bodily autonomy and moral responsibility in normatively contested and institutionally complex contexts. His research spans medical cases including Body Integrity Dysphoria, reproductive freedom, and end-of-life decision-making, alongside sociocultural and epistemological questions raised by postmodernity, religious experience, and medical authority. He examines the ethics of artificial intelligence and transhumanism in healthcare. He is co-founder and Executive Chair of Corpus Sui, an international non-profit documenting structural harm across borders. He collaborates with national and international bodies, and his research is disseminated through peer-reviewed journals, academic books, and public writing.
