Tammy Gold

Tammy Gold, LCSW, MSW, CEC, is a licensed therapist, certified coach, author, and founder of the Care Map Method™, a whole-person approach to navigating caregiving and family life.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University School of Social Work, Tammy has spent more than 20 years helping families understand needs, make difficult care decisions, and build stronger relationships with the people who care for those they love.

Tammy is the author of Secrets of the Nanny Whisperer and the creator of the Care Map Method™ book series, which applies her signature Biological, Emotional, Social, and Environmental (BESE) framework across the lifespan—from infancy and childhood through senior care.

Her practical approach teaches families to Map → Match → Merge → Manage™: understand the whole person, choose care that fits, integrate it successfully, and manage it as needs change.

Tammy's expertise in parenting, childcare, relationships, and caregiving has been featured by Good Morning America, TODAY, CBS, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, TIME, Parents, and other national media.

Through her books, clinical work, consulting, and Care Map Method™, Tammy's goal is to make complicated care decisions clearer, more human, and more manageable.
