Dr. Brittany Lytle Rodriguez
Dr. Brittany Lytle Rodriguez is a social work educator, public health professional, and community advocate dedicated to advancing transdisciplinary collaboration, systems-level innovation, and compassionate service. She currently serves as an Associate Professor and BSW Field Director at California Baptist University, where she specializes in social work education, field practicum development, mental health, and transdisciplinary systems approaches that bridge healthcare, education, and community support services.
Dr. Rodriguez holds a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) and Master of Social Work (MSW) and is recognized for her leadership in interprofessional education, field education innovation, and transdisciplinary systems-informed practice. She is the founder and co-chair of the Transdisciplinary Symposium Series (TSS), an initiative designed to unite professionals across disciplines to address complex social and health challenges through collaborative, community-centered solutions.
In addition to her academic and professional work, Dr. Rodriguez proudly serves as Mrs. California United Crown of America 2026. Through her platform, she advocates for congenital heart defect research, awareness, and community support for heart warrior families. Her advocacy is deeply personal and inspired by her family’s own journey through pediatric cardiac care and support systems, including her connection to Ronald McDonald House Charities and The Children's Heart Foundation, where she actively supports efforts to advance congenital heart defect research, awareness, and community support.
As a wife, bonus mom to her stepson, and mother to two sons, Dr. Rodriguez is passionate about empowering others through faith, service, education, and leadership. Her work reflects a commitment to strengthening communities, uplifting families, and creating collaborative systems of care that promote equity, resilience, and hope.
