David Allway

As a coach, David spent a quarter-century developing elite soccer players at Indiana University, Manchester College, Indiana Tech, and professional academies. As a consultant, he's helped federal agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and nonprofits solve complex organizational problems through systems thinking and strategic change. As an educator, he's taught a wide-variety of courses at government agencies, corporations, and major universities.

But the real education came from observation. Across every setting, from the soccer field to the boardroom, David noticed the same pattern: the people who make success possible are almost never the ones we credit for it. He has developed a Behavioral Systems Engineering approach, a data-driven talent intelligence platform, and a textbook currently under review by multiple universities.

To make his work more accessible, he created the Behavioral Systems Engineering Series—short, easy-to-read books that present key concepts in concise, practical formats, including We Are Not Alone, The White Horse Theory, The Human in the Machine, Angels Among Us, The Carry Ratio, The Belief Engine, The Dark Horse Theory, Systemic Insight and Systemic Happiness.

He has also written novels such as Seventeen Minutes and The Long Light, which reflect his ideas through engaging storytelling, as well as the fast-paced Pointer Series, exploring the science and applications behind his work.

His books have been developed over the past 25+ years and will be released over the next several years.

David holds a Master's in Kinesiology from Indiana University, founded N-LITE (a human performance analytics platform), and serves as President of Woodside Quality.
