Naz Basit

The author, Naz Basit, lives in Virginia with her family. She is a physician by profession. This is her first children's fiction storybook. She has raised her own children with a hands-on approach, exposing them to educational books on math, science, geography, and nature at a young age. She believes that a child's learning starts in the crib, and that exposure to books and reading at an early age instills a lifelong yearning for knowledge and curiosity.

When not writing books, the author likes spending time with her family, playing with her grandson, painting, and going for nature walks.
