Kimberly D Oneness

Dr. Kimberly D. Oneness is an author and educator whose work activates transformation, cultural brilliance, and the radical belief that every person deserves to see themselves as whole, worthy, and capable.

An Organizational Development consultant and former university professor with decades of experience spanning institutions across the United States and beyond, Dr. Oneness brings both scholarly depth and soulful warmth to everything she creates. She is the founder of Kid Possible Press, an independent children’s publishing imprint rooted in the conviction that representation is not a trend — it is a necessity.

Her debut picture book, Stars in My Skin: The Secret of the Ink (2026), is a love letter to children who carry the beauty of their heritage in the very cells of their skin. Blending lyrical storytelling with themes of multigenerational wisdom and self-discovery, the book invites young readers — and the adults who love them — to understand that their identity is not a burden to explain, but a gift to celebrate.

Beyond the page, Dr. Oneness is the founder of Dynasty by Design, a consultancy and coaching platform designed to activate legacy mindsets within family systems. One of a rare 3% to pass both parts of the U.S. Foreign Service Exam on the first try, she ultimately chose a different kind of diplomacy — living and working as an educator across five continents over two decades. She is a passionate advocate for cross-cultural competence and a firm believer that the stories we tell our children often become the stories they tell themselves for a lifetime.

Stars in My Skin is her first children's book— but it is far from her last word.
