J V Weidmann

Jaymes Vrmeer Weidmann is a Swiss-based author and world-builder, originally from California, where he spent over 30 years before relocating in 2023. He now lives in Switzerland with his wife and creative partner, Linda M. Weidmann.

His storytelling journey began in 1999 at Junction Avenue Middle School in Livermore CA , where the foundation of what would later become The Healing Dragon Universe was first imagined. Though rich in world detail, the project remained unfinished and was eventually set aside.

In 2021, with the rise of TikTok and the discovery of the Dungeons & Dragons community, Jaymes found new inspiration. Within months, he and Linda co-founded The Healing Dragon Family of Sorcerer City, a collaborative storytelling group dedicated to bringing their shared world to life.

Over the past three years, Jaymes and a growing community of 26 members have developed The World of Paradisum through roleplay, character creation, and ongoing narrative building reviving a vision decades in the making.

Through his books, Jaymes continues to expand this universe, transforming years of imagination into immersive stories shaped by collaboration, passion, and persistence.

This is only the beginning more stories from Paradisum are yet to be told.
