Don Macnab-Stark is a screenwriter and novelist drawn to one question: what would you do?

He began writing at the age of five, rewriting Bambi so that the mother survives—an early attempt to outthink the inevitability of loss that continues to shape his storytelling today.

His screenplays have been produced internationally across the UK, South Africa, Australia, and the United States. He is also the author of the bestselling graphic novel Treadwater, and has written interactive narrative games for Mixi Inc..

Alongside his writing, Don has taught screenwriting and creative writing at college level, and works with writers to develop high-concept stories grounded in human stakes.

But whatever the format, his work is less about the choice itself, more about what happens next.
