Jorge R. Obando is a writer, builder, and observer of everyday moments.

Born in Costa Rica and now living in the United States, his work is shaped by movement between places, cultures, and perspectives. Through his writing, he explores how experiences, memories, and relationships quietly shape the way we see the world.

The Tracks Remember began as a simple idea and quickly grew into a story about travel, family, and the moments that stay with us long after they’ve passed. Alongside it, Trains and Castles offers a companion version for younger readers, built from the same journey and sense of discovery.

When he’s not writing, Jorge is usually building, exploring new ideas, or spending time with his family.
