Brian Summers

Brian Summers currently resides in California, within a sprawling suburb of the Inland Empire. His philosophy: "A writer writes. Every writer has their own unique tried and true method. For myself, I never storyboard my ideas with index cards or stacks of notepads. The writing basically stems from an initial out of the blue concept I envision, which is either culled from any one of the countless weird dreams I’ve had or by something as simple as an event I witnessed or read about in my own day to day life. I start with a scenario and simply build the story I want to tell around it. For me, it’s just that easy. I don’t overthink anything, I just plain and simply write from my heart. For me, passion means everything. If what I contribute doesn’t come from a place of the sincerest devotion, or if I begin feeling that it’s all just to appease those who believe I should be expressing my ideas differently, then the work itself becomes meaningless.”
