I began writing novels almost ten years ago when I noticed there weren’t many choices for gay black teens to see themselves within the publishing world. That is how Evan Sinclair – Detective Extraordinaire came to be I have also written an adult sci-fi space opera trilogy featuring a colorful cast of LGBTQ characters entitled Luminous Void.

I’m currently a professor of Communication at Seattle University where I teach journalism courses, primarily multimedia storytelling, media systems and investigative reporting.
