Thomas Humber

Mr. Humber joined Esri in 2013 as an Education Specialist to develop Instructor-led and web courses. He brings over 35 years of experience in remote sensing, GIS, and related geospatial technology applications, including over 15 years of imagery and remote sensing support to various government and commercial organizations. Mr. Humber also managed geospatial information and services (IGI&S) activities for US government Public Works directorates and Facilities during his career. His academic experience includes teaching remote sensing, human, and applied geography at the university level. As a Principal Technical Lead, Mr. Humber is passing along his years of experience and knowledge related to geography and remote sensing analysis to a new generation of rising professionals. A self-professed geography and history nerd, Mr. Humber is an avid explorer of historic battlefield sites across the United States and Europe.
