Ana Bains

Ana Bains is an advocate and volunteer dedicated to raising awareness about epilepsy. Diagnosed with seizures in third grade, she turned a life-changing experience into a mission to help others. Through her work with the Epilepsy Foundation of Northern California, she has raised significant funds to support programs that provide care, education, and opportunities for people with epilepsy.

As a Teen Speak Up participant, Ana has conducted policy research, spoken with lawmakers, and led school and community efforts to increase understanding, compassion, and support for epilepsy.

She wrote this book so that no child facing epilepsy feels scared, confused, or alone, and instead feels seen, supported, and strong.
