Laura Young is the author of a series of illustrated concept books that help children, teens, and the adults who guide them better understand themselves and their life experience. Through the Lifelight books, she introduces five foundational principles related to identity, connection, emotional regulation, self-worth, and the wise use of attention in an age of distraction. With a master’s degree in Child Studies and more than 30 years of experience supporting children, youth, and families, Laura draws on research, reflection, ancient wisdom, and real-world practice to make complex ideas accessible, practical, and deeply relatable. She is also the creator of the Lifelight program.
