Meredith Rae Fraser

Meredith Rae Fraser is a Cherokee Nation citizen. Her books share today's Native American lifestyle. Her first book, CORA'S FANCY SHAWL DANCE, deals with a child being brave and trying something that is hard and a little scary for them. All children feel that at times. Besides growing stronger in her knowledge of her culture, Meredith enjoys the outdoors. She loves to sit still, close her eyes and just listen to her surroundings. This also is reflected in her writing. Meredith lives in the Northeast corner of the Cherokee Reservation with her husband and their rescue dog.
