Cherie Lewis

Cherie Lewis is a brand new author hoping to reach young minds and teach them something that will make them curious about the world! She is a Fine Art Major with a degree from Auburn University and owns her business LuckCherie Art and Gifts LLC. Cherie was born in Massachusetts but was raised and lives in Virginia with her other half, 9 year old son and 21 year old daughter. Her mother is English so she has traveled overseas many times and has seen other parts of the world. She has lived in both England and Italy. In one of those travels, at the age of 20, sitting in the airport and people watching - She saw so many different people and wondered what their background was, where were they from, what customs/rituals/traditions do they have? and so on. That was the inspiration for this book that contains fun facts of countries that you normally don't learn about in school. She hopes that it will drive a passion in children to learn and want to travel the world to learn different cultures.
