Amanda Martin
Amanda Martin is the founder and CEO of Studyville®, a pioneering education company delivering high-quality tutoring solutions that blend human-centered instruction with data-driven accountability. A magna cum laude graduate of Vanderbilt University and the University of Texas, Amanda founded Studyville after her own experience as a mother of two teenage boys, Noah and William, inspired her to create a place to “Take the Homework Fight Out of the Home®.” What began as a solution for her family has grown into a nationally recognized education company bridging gaps in academic support with measurable, impactful tutoring services.
Under her leadership, Studyville has delivered over 100,000 in-person high-dosage tutoring sessions annually, with 99% of students demonstrating measurable growth.
Amanda has also spearheaded innovations in education, including microschools that provide families alternatives to the one-size-fits-all classroom, StudyTrack™, a FERPA-compliant platform that tracks every tutoring session and skill to give districts and states transparent dashboards on impact, and ReadingImpact™, a Science-of-Reading aligned literacy curriculum with 37 targeted skills fully integrated with StudyTrack for measurable outcomes. She is the author and creator of Henry the Star-Spangled Spaniel™, a patriotic literacy pup whose time-traveling adventures in American history foster both reading skills and civic understanding, aligning with the Department of Education’s Freedom Framework, and is set to be published by Simon&Schuster and in bookstores everywhere June 2026. Building on this foundation, Amanda is now franchising Studyville’s brick-and-mortar Academic Workspaces® nationwide, bringing both homework relief and expanded school choice solutions to parents across America.
Beyond Studyville, Amanda is a founding member of Baton Rouge’s Early Childhood Education Commission, a board member of the Baton Rouge General Foundation, a business council member with the America First Policy Institute, a committee member for Louisiana Association of Business and Industry’s education committee, board member for LABI’s Foundation, and a philanthropist supporting both the arts and education. She is also the co-founder of Opera Louisiane and the founder of The Fur Ball, a fundraiser for the non-profit animal shelter in Baton Rouge, contributing significantly to Baton Rouge’s cultural and civic life. In addition, she serves as Family Council President of her 102-year-old family-owned business, where she provides expertise in governance and Next-Gen engagement.
Her work has earned national recognition, including being named one of America’s Top Small Businesses by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in 2023 and one of 2024’s Influential Women in Business by the Baton Rouge Business Report.
