David Bridel

David Bridel is the Founding and Artistic Director of The Clown School and The Clown School Company, based in Los Angeles, California. His work as an author, playwright, director, choreographer, acting coach, and teacher of clowning, performance, and related practices and arts, has taken him across the world to many venues, theaters, and festivals. He is the co-editor of three books focused on the practice of clowning and related arts published by Routledge UK, and the sole author of Clown Vs Dogma, a deep investigation of the connection between the roots of clowning and the manner in which it is taught in the contemporary studio today.
