Reuben Collins

Reuben Collins is a 9-year-old author who enjoys turning his imagination into stories. Funny, caring, and full of energy, he is always coming up with new ideas and finding creative ways to bring them to life.

The idea for Penny’s Quest grew from one of his entries for the BBC 500 Words competition, where his interest in storytelling really began to take shape. He enjoys writing stories where characters face challenges, think creatively, and keep going even when things feel difficult.

Outside of writing, Reuben is a keen gymnast and tap dancer. He also has a strong passion for reading, writing, and art, and enjoys gaming in his spare time.

Penny’s Quest is his first published book, with more ideas already in the works.
