Tareasa "ReesaTeesa" Johnson
Tareasa M. Johnson, professionally known as Reesa Teesa, is an American content creator and
storyteller who rose to viral fame in 2024 with her gripping TikTok series, “Who TF Did I Marry?” Born in
New Jersey, and raised in Georgia, Johnson graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in
Criminal Justice. She spent years working in law enforcement administration before gaining international
attention through social media.
Her 50-part video series detailed a whirlwind romance and chaotic marriage to a man she later
discovered had fabricated nearly every aspect of his life—from his job to his identity. The emotional
honesty and vivid storytelling struck a nerve, garnering over 500 million views and sparking global
conversations about deception, healing, and self-worth. Her following skyrocketed to millions, and she
soon appeared on major platforms like Good Morning America and The Tamron Hall Show.
Following her viral success, Johnson signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and began developing a
scripted TV adaptation of her story, with actress Natasha Rothwell attached to star and produce. Reesa
Teesa continues to inspire audiences with her bold transparency, turning personal pain into
empowerment and redefining what it means to take control of your narrative.
