Cary Harrison

Cary Harrison is a journalist, broadcaster, and satirist with more than three decades in national radio and television.

He is the host of The Cary Harrison Files on Los Angeles Public Radio & the Pacifica Radio Network, where his work blends long-form interviews, cultural criticism, and award-winning satirical commentary.

His career has included CBS News, SiriusXM, CNN, ABC, ESPN, NYC, KPFK Los Angeles.

His journalism has earned a Vanderbilt University Siegenthaler Award, the Sigma Delta Chi Award (Society of Professional Journalists’ highest public service honor), Associated Press 1st Place for Best Commentary, back-to-back honors from American Women in Radio & Television, awards from the LA Press Club, recognition from the United Nations, and the Edward R. Murrow Award for Public Radio excellence. He’s listed in “Who’s Who in America”, is related to Abraham Lincoln on his mother’s side and framers of the Constitution on his father’s.
