On a clear day, from my grandfather’s home, you can see Olympus rising in the distance.

We emigrated to Australia when I was three years old.

As a boy growing up, I dreamed of being Odysseus.

At university I studied literature and drama, read Nietzsche.

Later, I came to see that Buddhism holds some of the most powerful truths about the human condition.

And somewhere along the way I found a connection to Batman and the Silver Surfer.

In different ways, each of them wrestles with the same question:

How should a human being live in a challenging world…

when some of the greatest challenges lie within?
