Ellen B Cutler

An art historian by training, museum educator by vocation, and college teacher and freelancer by happenstance, Ellen B Cutler is interested in just about anything and describes her knowledge as a little like the Platte River: “a mile wide and an inch deep.” She doesn’t claim scholarship but parlayed curiosity into a winning on “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” in 2001. These days she lives in East Boston with her dog Ping, named for the duckling in the 1933 children’s classic by Marjorie Flack.
