Nancy Mack

Nancy Mack is an award-winning educator and author with a passion for memoir, multigenre writing, and working-class narratives. As an English professor emerita from Wright State University, she has published about emotional labor, imposterism, and teaching writing to marginalized and first-generation students. She has authored books on multigenre research projects and teaching grammar with poetry. Her community service projects include partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts, the Ohio Arts Council, Dayton Public Television, and the Ohio Department of Education.

As an English professor for over twenty years, Nancy taught writing to undergraduate and graduate students. Her career began as a middle school teacher who quickly became a popular presenter at state conferences and school district inservices. What sets Nancy apart is her firsthand experience teaching in three prisons and her use of inventive publication projects for students.
