Clancy Denton

Clancy Denton is the co-author, along with her husband Rick, of The Loud Quiet - Love, Laughter & Life in the Empty Nest, inspired by the real conversations they began having after their children left home. Together, they co-host the popular podcast The Loud Quiet™, where they share honest stories, humor, and reflections about navigating changing identities, protecting their connection, and what comes next as a couple now that the “kid glue” is gone. In those early empty nest months, one phrase became their guide: Say Yes.

She still runs the day to day household to dos but finds that there is a lot less laundry and the grocery cart isn’t quite as full. She’s rediscovered a creative side that had been stagnant for a long time and that has opened up many opportunities that were not expected.

Clancy lives in Texas with Rick and is happiest working out, traveling, reading, watching reality TV (her guilty pleasure)and enjoying meals with friends. She loves spending time with their adult children and thriving in this new empty nest phase.
