Jl Thompson

JL Thompson is an elementary educator and author with more than a decade of experience teaching in virtual classrooms. She has worked with students across multiple elementary grade levels and holds a Master of Education in Online Learning.

Her books are inspired by the real challenges, funny moments, technology mishaps, and learning breakthroughs she has experienced throughout her career. Through stories like The WiFi Warriors, Thompson hopes to help children see themselves in the books they read while building confidence, independence, perseverance, and a love of learning.

In addition to writing for children, she also creates books for educators that explore teaching, collaboration, and the unique world of virtual education.

JL Thompson lives in the Los Angeles area and continues to work in education while writing stories designed to make learning feel meaningful, relatable, and a little more fun.
