Kimberley Hind

Kimberley Hind is a London-based sewing designer, author and content creator, known for her accessible approach to dressmaking, patchwork and everyday sewing. After rediscovering sewing during maternity leave in 2017, she developed a passion for creating simple, wearable garments using only body measurements and intuitive techniques.

Through her platform What Kimberley Makes, Kimberley shares easy-to-follow tutorials covering everything from patchwork and quilting to beginner-friendly garment making, helping sewists build skills with confidence. She is also the founder of Made on Monday, a modern sewing pattern brand focused on relaxed, wearable pieces.

Kimberley’s work blends practicality with creativity, often incorporating patchwork, simple construction methods and upcycled textiles. Her teaching style is clear, encouraging and rooted in making sewing feel achievable and enjoyable for everyone.
