Rod Thompson is a decorated U.S. Navy veteran with over two decades of service across wartime and peacetime operations worldwide. An award-winning children's book author, actor, and public speaker, with accolades that include delivering opening remarks before the President of the United States.

When he's not on stage or behind a podium, Rod can be found somewhere above the clouds as a licensed private pilot, debating the greatest films ever made, or defending the cultural superiority of the 1980s.

He lives in Suffolk, Virginia with his wife and three sons.
