Elizabeth Rivera

Elizabeth “Licha” Rivera is an author, storyteller, and woman of faith whose writing is rooted in resilience, healing, and hope. Deeply shaped by her experiences growing up in inner-city Hartford, Connecticut, she writes memoir-inspired fiction that reflects family, culture, survival, love, and self-discovery. Through her City Girl series, Elizabeth hopes to inspire others—especially young women—to break unhealthy cycles, recognize their worth, and believe that their past does not have to define their future. She congregates at Crossroads Community Cathedral in East Hartford, Connecticut, and writes with the mission of turning real-life lessons into stories that empower, encourage, and transform.
