Paul Stokstad

Paul Stokstad is a writer, teacher, poet, performer, digital strategist, and lifelong athlete whose work spans literature, comedy, dance, consciousness, sports, and emerging technology. He pursued graduate work in literature and linguistics at the University of Iowa and has taught composition, advertising, copywriting, poetry writing, and public speaking, including graduate-level courses at Maharishi International University. He currently teaches English at Indian Hills Community College.

Paul has a long history in improv theater as both producer and performer, along with public performance experience rooted partly in the dance culture of the disco era. A longtime practitioner, teacher, and supporter of Transcendental Meditation, he has remained closely connected with MIU and consciousness-based education.

An early adopter in web marketing and AI technologies, Paul brings digital fluency to his creative work. He has also taught tennis, coached college tennis, and now explores pickleball, athletic flow, and the mind-body mechanics of performance.
