S. D. Farrow is a Yorkshire based author whose

work reclaims familiar stories, fairy tales, myths, and scripture alike, and retells them through voices often left unheard. His body of work is devoted to justice, acceptance, and the enduring power of love, even in worlds shaped by betrayal, grief, and ruin.

Inspired by the darker currents beneath the stories

we inherit, including the versions recorded by the

Brothers Grimm and the ones handed down through faith and folklore alike, S. D. Farrow writes tales that honour the ache at the heart of a myth while allowing space for healing.
