Alex Mirot is a former United States Air Force pilot, educator, and training developer with extensive experience designing training programs for complex operational environments. During his military career, he flew the C-130 Hercules and completed more than 150 combat sorties in support of missions across Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. After leaving active duty, he continued as a contract instructor pilot and training developer. He later spent a decade at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University as a faculty member and program leader in Unmanned Aircraft Systems, contributing to research and publishing on professional standards for remote pilots. He co-founded the Unmanned Safety Institute, where he helped establish industry training standards, and now leads Instructor Forge, supporting experts in high-consequence fields in developing effective instructional programs.
