Moreover, the author worked as a senior software scientist at the Science and Technology Facilities Council, Oxfordshire, UK. The author also worked as a researcher at Politecnico di Milano, Italy, and University of Ioannina, Greece. His research and software development work was in the context of UK and EU funded projects.
