David Schippers

Dr. David A. Schippers writes from the seam where research meets the uncanny. His debut novel, The Butchers' Blood, is a standalone descent into a folk-horror thriller set in an Oregon forest town where the local mythology doesn’t stay myth.

By day, he is an academic leader driving AI innovation across doctoral, master's, and undergraduate programs, serving as Vice President, Chief Academic Officer, and Provost. He holds a Doctor of Science in Cybersecurity and the CISSP, and chairs 17 active dissertation committees.

As Founder of Iron Dog LLC, he developed the Amplified Intelligence framework, asking not what AI can do, but what the human must become to remain cognitively sovereign. His research on AI cognitive replication produced the David Prime perception system, integrating Jungian depth psychology into AI architecture.

Author of nine nonfiction books on AI, cybersecurity, and leadership, he now turns to fiction — where the questions get darker, and the answers wear masks.
