Veronica Tucker

Veronica Tucker is an emergency medicine and addiction medicine physician, poet, and mother of three living in New Hampshire. Her work is shaped by the intersections of medicine, motherhood, and memory, exploring the quiet, complex moments that unfold alongside urgency and care. Drawing from both her clinical experience and personal life, she writes with close attention to detail, emotional precision, and the subtle tensions of inhabiting multiple roles at once.

She is the author of The House as Witness, a poetry chapbook that examines the home as both refuge and record, holding the imprint of the lives lived within it. Her writing often moves between the domestic and the clinical, illuminating the shared human experiences that connect them.

A Pushcart Prize nominee, her work has appeared in ONE ART, The Berlin Literary Review, Rust & Moth, and elsewhere. She continues to write and publish while balancing a career in medicine and life with her family in New England.
