Welcome to NEBIBO Ocean Explorers!

What started as a mission to get kids off their screens and into the water with our signature kids' snorkel gear has evolved into a full-fledged educational adventure. At NEBIBO (inspired by the iconic movie line, "NEed a BIgger BOat!"), our goal is simple: to ignite a lifelong passion for the ocean and the natural world.

We believe that learning should be as thrilling as a real-life deep-sea dive. That is why we created the NEBIBO Ocean Explorers book series, a growing collection of heartwarming adventure storybooks and screen-free STEM activity workbooks designed to bridge the gap between imagination and real-world science.

In our vividly illustrated picture books, children can join beloved characters like Isa, Finn, Luna, Tour Guide Shark, and Girly Shark on unforgettable underwater journeys. Whether they are helping Pip the shy stingray find his lost sea coin in the Sparkling Sandy Flats or attending Luna's starfish family reunion, these tales beautifully blend friendship, teamwork, and courage with fascinating marine biology facts.

About the Creators

Behind the NEBIBO universe is the husband-and-wife team, Jonathan and Shannon Pillet. As parents and nature enthusiasts, Jonathan and Shannon combined their love for the sea with a shared passion for children's education to bring NEBIBO to life. Together, they meticulously craft every storyline and STEM challenge to ensure learning feels like play. When they aren't dreaming up new underwater adventures for Isa and Finn, Jonathan and Shannon can usually be found spending time with their daughter.
