Riccardo Armini

AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY

Riccardo Armini was born in Siena in 1962. A chemist by training, he has spent over thirty-seven years at the heart of the information technology revolution, managing complex software systems and pharmaceutical databases. Having witnessed the evolution of computing from the early days of COBOL to the modern digital era, he possesses a unique perspective on the intersection of biology, logic, and silicon.

For almost twenty years, he has dedicated himself to the study and practice of martial arts, an experience that has deeply shaped his discipline and worldview. This fusion of scientific rigour, technological expertise, and Eastern philosophy provides the very soul of his narrative. Heirs of the Past is his debut novel—an ambitious work that explores the boundaries between advanced technology and the enduring human spirit. He lives in Siena with his wife, their son, and their two daughters.
