Dr. April Pete Starks is a publisher, writer, consultant, and former family advocate with over a decade of experience in special education and organizational leadership. As CEO of Alyn Consulting LLC and Radiant Ivy Press, she created The Resilient Families Pathway, a coaching platform dedicated to helping families navigate modern childhood.

Dr. April also writes under the pen name Deana Rush Davis, publishing best-selling titles in child development, parenting, and play therapy, including Play Therapy in Action, The Resilient Child Blueprint, and The Friendship Detective series.
