Andy Lindley

Andy Lindley was born in Brisbane, Australia in 1969, the youngest of four children. He grew up on the northside of Brisbane and after an early career start in finance, he took a chance job in the emerging local film industry in the late 90s, before moving to Melbourne in 2000 to further pursue this career.

The creative film industry was the perfect environment to nurture his love of the arts. Always looking for a way to express himself, he dabbled in mediums like paint, music, photography, but it was the need to put pen to paper that really showcased his emotional expression.

His poetry comes from the heart, lived experiences and at times a tortured soul that needs to express his feelings as a "coping mechanism".

While his career in film does more than just pay the bills, the rewards have led him back to the Gold Coast, Australia, where he currently resides and continues to write.
