David Hacker

My name is David Hacker and I'm a veteran, former middle school social studies teacher, truck driver, and self taught genealogist. I attended Eastern Kentucky University and was awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation and Park Administration. My published works include a Clay County Ancestral News Article called "The Memorable Life of Tolman Hacker," and a co-writing credit to an Owsley County Then and Now Article called "The Unforgivable Murder of Lycurgus Kincaid, Jr." Continuing on, I self-published a book entitled "A Collection of Articles & Lineages Concerning the Descendants of Sarah, Hettie, and Elizabeth Whitehead," which has been generously accepted in the genealogy stacks of the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. as well. Beyond that, I self-published two additional genealogy articles. The first one being a very personal and beloved composition called "My Royall, Perrin, and Napier family lineage from Historic Jamestowne, Virginia to Clay County, Kentucky." Then, I self-published another cherished genealogy piece called "My family lineage from Ephraim Osborne, Sr. of Grayson County, Virginia to Southeastern Kentucky." In the end, I donated both articles of writing as an in-kind gift to the Library of Virginia, which falls in line with my goal of lineage preservation.
