Vishal Tayade

Dr. Vishal Tayade is Assistant Professor of Pathology at Grant Government Medical College and Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai. He holds an MD in Pathology and the FRCPath Part 1 (Royal College of Pathologists, UK), and trained in haematopathology and surgical pathology at the Tata Memorial Centre.

His academic work focuses on diagnostic haematopathology, integrated surgical pathology, and pathology education for postgraduate and licensing examinations — USMLE, FRCPath, MD, and DNB. He publishes through Vayden Academic Press, an imprint dedicated to mechanism-first, pattern-driven pathology education.

He also writes literary fiction at the intersection of science and human relationships. He lives in Mumbai.
