Loz Hunt is the author of the River Heights Mystery series. Having grown up devouring the classic Nancy Drew books, Loz wrote her debut novel, The Echo of the Old Clock, to pass the thrill of dusty attics, secret codes, and vintage car chases on to her children and a brand-new generation of readers.

After spending many years working in real estate sales and marketing, an unexpected illness forced Loz to step away from the corporate world. However, this life shift opened a new door, finally giving her the time to pursue her lifelong passion for storytelling. An avid reader across a wide variety of genres, Loz gets so fully immersed in books that she can often be found laughing out loud or bursting into tears over a wonderful chapter—much to her husband’s amusement.

Originally from Sydney, Loz has spent most of her life in a quiet, leafy suburb of Melbourne, Australia. When she isn't plotting the next intriguing mystery for Penny and Nancy to solve, she is usually being entertained by the hilarious and highly vocal antics of her magnificent white-and-grey Siberian Husky, Kybie.
