Nevetta King

Nevetta King is a licensed pastoral counselor, certified mental health coach, recovery coach,

and a community leader with over 20 years of experience serving individuals and families

through life’s most challenging seasons. As the founder of Expanded Roots Counseling, she

is known for her Christ-centered, holistic approach and her signature message: “Dealing

with the Root Matters.”

A breast cancer survivor, Nevetta writes from lived experience. Her journey through

diagnosis, uncertainty, and healing deepened her faith and strengthened her commitment to

helping others choose resilience, renew their minds, and find joy in adversity.

Through speaking engagements, counseling sessions, and faith-based initiatives across

Texas, Nevetta empowers others to "Faith It Forward" embracing purpose, wellness, and

unwavering trust in God, even in life’s most difficult moments.
