Laura Mayer

Laura Mayer has been working in podcasting for two decades. She's worked at New York Public Radio, Slate, and a series of smaller podcast companies that were acquired by bigger companies. She ran a joint venture with Sony Music Entertainment and later held an Executive Producer position at ABC News. She's now the Head of Podcasts at Talkhouse.

She hosts the "Shameless Acquisition Target" podcast.

"Tryhard: A Cautionary Tale of Clocking-In and Spinning Out" is her first book.
